Our first step was to draw out the lines on the cloth material, representing the ciruit wire that would me made with conducting wire. This was a very tough job as the cloth we cut out was of very small width as a result of which we had to make sure that conducting thread did not over lap. After sewing the conductive wire on to the yellow fabric, we then made the pressure sensors with the use of conductive thread. This was then linked to each other with the use of a very small strip of velostat.

After making one of our strip we tested it. What we figured out was there was a lot of noise in terms of the fluctuations of the resistance values. We concluded, that primary flaw was with our design. Consequently, we made the collective decision to start from scratch. However, this time we made the strips a lot thicker than our initial design.

We were able to reach up to stage of connecting the LED lights to the strips before we called it day.
