After having the clear road-map for our prototype, we started building our prototype on day 5. We divided our group into two pairs to work on the glove and the dog tags. To make the dog tags, we used the laser cutter to cut the acrylic. We used acrylic to make sure that the tags are non-conductive. Also, the ribbon for the tags were made out of a conductive thread surrounded by plastic beads, so that we could prevent the short circuit while wearing the dog tags.
Later on, in the evening we started programming the Lilipad according to the circuit. On the other hand, the other half of our group started working on the glove. For the glove, we needed to mount some LEDs on the glove and cover it with heart-shaped fabric and on the bottom of the glove, we needed a push button to activate the vibrator behind one of the dog tags.
