On the first day of our engineering lab, we were first introduced the the team of three from MIT media labs, Stefan, Hannah, and Matt. We were introduced to the prompt, and we’re shown examples of what previous inventions regarding the same field have been made to get an idea of what we should come up with.
We then promptly started learning about e-textiles and the different types of basic programming and circuiting we would need to do in order to build a prototype that would meet the prompt we have been given. We learned how to program the arduino microcontroller to make LED’s at different patterns and we also built a working push button made out of fabric.
